Still Life Project

         I think that overall I did a really good job on this project. I think that it was challenging to shade and to get the overlapping, but i think i did a good job. I think this piece is sucessful beacuse it looks good and I shaded it properly. It also was sucessful becuase I did a great job and worked hard on it. What worked on this project was that the shading is good. Also I think I did a nice job making it look like the display. What didnt work was the umbrella. I had a hard time getting that to work, in terms of making it look like it looked on the display. It was kind of flat. If I were to do this project over I would take more time to make the umbrella look better and I would make the shading look a little bit different. The most difficult part of this piece was the shading because you had to make sure you got the entire shading scale and it was so time consuming. It was also really hard to blend the different shades to make it look good. From this piece I learned how to shade objects that arent just circles and squares, and how to overlap things and make it look real.
