1 Point Perspective Drawing

Overall, I think that this piece turned out really well. We could make our room look however we wanted and I wanted an elegant room. I think this drawing potrays an elegant room, so I like how it turned out. This piece was really successful in my opinion becuase it looks like a real hallway/room. I am really proud that I drew this because it is how I wanted it to look. What worked in this, was how everything came together. The hallway looks real and everything in it looks really nice. The addition of the second hallway i put in the drawing was a nice touch I thought. Although all of that worked, I dont think that the light fixture at the top on the ceiling is the best. It could be bigger and more elegant. Also, the ceiling at the end of the hallway where it goes down, could be drawn a little better. However, that is all that didn't work. For the most part everything worked really well and came together nicely. If I did this project over again I think that I would put a little bit more detail into it. I think that I would make it so that there were a few more elegant touches in the room. Also I would either re-think the light fixture, or just completely take it out. Other than that I wouldn't really change anything. The most difficult part of completing this was the staircase that I put in for the couch to go on. It was difficult to get all the steps to look just right and have it look like a real staircase. Also the couch being on the staircase was quite the challenge itself. It was hard to get it to look like it wasn't floating in the air. In this piece I learned how to make a room look real. Also I learned how to not make my room just look flat and boring. It was a challenge, but I liked how it turned out. It was a fun project to do.
